Maintenance
Perform light building maintenance repairs, monitoring for any repairs mechanical, pluming, HVAC or structural. Other repairs will be but not limited to changing ceiling tiles, painting and other office support as required
Maintains responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance and technical proficiency along with work orders.
Maintenance of the equipment will include cleaning, inspecting, calibrating and changing parts to maintain the HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels
Proper use and care of hand tools
Building support for 3 different building (Clean driving record is required)
Day Porter Activities
Evaluate vendors and suppliers on a regular basis with regard to quality and competitive pricing
Safety
Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe workplace
Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory
Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
Escorting of contractors while on premises
Education
High School diploma or GED equivalent, with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC

Skills & Other Abilities
Working knowledge of computers applications including Word and Excel
Ability to analyze the operations of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective actions as required
Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well
Ability to work on Saturdays
Ability to be on call
Certificates / License
Clean driving record & current driver s license
