Our client the USDA Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Program, within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), provides oversight and coordinates efforts to implement the processes, policies, and technology necessary to deliver enterprise-wide identity, credential, and access management capabilities to USDA agencies and staff offices.

CNSP (Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs) is seeking a Documentation & Communication Specialist to s upport the ICAM program in the continuous improvement of its products and services by engaging stakeholders, acquiring feedback, and using this information to identify and implement improvements to ICAM services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Provide communication support to a variety of ICAM user communities and administrative support for the ICAM team
  • Manage travel arrangements, processing travel vouchers, orchestrating the quarterly ICAM newsletter and ICAM Brief, along with facilitating the ICAM Brief
  • Support the ICAM program in the continuous improvement of its products and services by engaging stakeholders, acquiring feedback, and using this information to identify and implement improvements to ICAM services.

Supervisory/Management Authority:

  • This position will not have supervisory or management authority

Education and/or Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a closely related field is required
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience; preferably in a federal government office setting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Excellent communication skills; both oral and written to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients
  • Successfully pass a drug screen and background check

Work Environment:

  • This position is performed in a secured federal office setting
