O'Neal Manufacturing Services in Indianapolis, IN is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for a 1st shift opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all maintenance repairs to ensure accuracy and long-term results in a cost-efficient manner.
Monitor equipment and machinery to determine routine maintenance schedules and promote preventive maintenance programs. Establish and/or maintain preventive maintenance program for each piece of material handling and processing equipment with primary preventive maintenance duties assigned to operators.
Determine appropriate levels of spare parts to be maintained and coordinate the inventory of these parts.
Coordinate activities with Production Supervisors and Production Manager to determine most feasible times for repairs and general maintenance to be done.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and education of maintenance employees in the operation of such equipment.
Conduct performance and salary reviews for subordinates in a timely manner.
Responsible for providing error-free work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications:
5+ years as an electrician and/or maintenance mechanic. Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLC, Building Code, and CNC equipment preferred.
Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
Experience with ERP system required.
Able to work in a high-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
2- or 4-year degree, or equivalent experience may be required.
Speak conversational English.
