Position Description:

This position is responsible for the creation and maintenance of control and communication software used in our Autonomous Mining equipment. Develop communication interfaces and GUI enhancements based on service and end users requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

* Create and maintain software (Control and Graphical User Interface) based on user stories

* Create and maintain unit test for software testing coverage

* Create and maintain Python based automated test and test suites.

* Reviewing of peer created code changes

* As required, assist with software release testing and debugging.

* Root cause analysis of software errors and bugs.

* Train and mentor employees as required

Special Knowledge, certification or License:

* Bachelor s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience (5-10 years)

* Training in embedded software development, object oriented development in C++ is required.

* Experience with Python is preferred.

* Experience in agile software development is preferred

* A basic understanding of electronics

* Unit testing of programs developed

* A basic understanding of hydraulic systems is a plus

* Experience in infrastructure / servers, .NET, or having Cisco certification or MCSE will be a benefit

* Training and experience in control system design and logic will be a benefit

Work Experience (Minimum Required):

* 5 years minimum experience in Robotic or Machine controls software development utilizing C/C++ and Java for human interfacing and GUI development
