We have an exceptional new Product Strategist role to join the product team. This role will be responsible for managing retirement initiatives from ideation through execution. Successful candidate will work with the head of Product Strategy to partner with business stakeholders (internal and external), product leadership and Ascensus scrum teams to ensure delivery of the firm s highest priorities align with the broader roadmap and platform strategy.The Product Strategist will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast pace agile environment and has prior experience leading associates in a matrix environment. This role is an integral part of the Product Team, acting as a liaison between the Product and technology teams to ensure clarity of intended results and so teams can maintain a deep, mature backlog.Responsibilities:Responsible for overall management of assigned priorities aligned with designated program responsibilities
Stays current on market trends and competitive landscape
Responds to key business stakeholders requests to ensure complete documentation of opportunities for priority consideration
Works with cross functional teams to define prioritized initiatives for consumption and execution by appropriate scrum teams.
For assigned initiatives, collaborating with business SMEs and product owners to define key features sets for scrum team refinement and execution
Collaborates closely with scrum team product owners to resolve open items related to strategic alignment with product roadmap
Responsible for updating and maintaining value stream information in Aha! to ensure proper reporting and health measurement to product leadership and the PMO
Assist product leadership with evaluating and scoring competing priorities to ensure highest value opportunities are being executed
Supports Ascensus I-Client service philosophy and our Core Values of People Matter, Quality First and Integrity Always . These should be visible in your actions on a day to day basis showing your support of our organizational culture.
Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.
Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements: Bachelor s Degree required
A minimum of 5 years of retirement plan business experience
A minimum of 3 years managing others in a matrix environment
Knowledge of the retirement market and retirement best practices
Experience conducting research on the competitive and market environment
Proficient with MS Office: Word, and Excel; working knowledge of Aha! and Sharepoint a plus
Effective written and communication skills; ability to translate technical terms into business terms
Must be detail-oriented and analytical
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting and competing priorities
Proven ability to quickly grasp information and independently produce results
Strong influence skills and demonstrated ability in facilitating / leading meetings with internal stakeholders
