PURPOSE/SCOPE:

The analytics team is looking for an experienced data analyst who can turn data projects and requests into value-added reporting that will provide insights to assist with making business-related decisions. The analyst will collaborate with the North America Sales, Service, and Field Operations to do a complete lifecycle data generation, identify trends and patterns within the data sets and provide recommendations based on the data results. The position will have the opportunity to collaborate on strategic data initiatives within the sales and service organizations. A focus will be on strategically thinking about how BIG data can be managed and utilized within our North America business.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Knowledge of core data systems such as SAP/BW, CRM, and Service-related tools. Experience working with external data providers such as D&B or US Census data.

* Collaborate with customers to build a dashboard (experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar tool) that provides insight into the business to assist with decision making.

* Experience with data models with the ability to analyze large data sets.

* Advance skills within excel with formulas, trending, and pivot tables.

* Integrate data from multiple data sources with experience in connecting various types of data.

* Develop new/updated documentation for the processing of data for reporting purposes when necessary.

* Define and lead work activities with data analysis and produce high-quality deliverables with a significant amount of autonomy.

* Demonstrated understanding of complex hierarchies and relationships.

* Ability to dig into a data issue, investigate and find a root cause.

* Assist with day to day data requests and monthly metrics processing.

* Use data and metrics to identify and evaluate opportunities and effectiveness for performance improvement projects

* Collaborate with multiple departments, & Subject Matter Experts (SME's)

* Partner with the customer to investigate and resolve questions and anomalies regarding the data presented within data reporting.

* Prepare and present effective presentations telling a story from the data to a team or business partner.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

* Bachelor's degree preferred; ideally, bachelors degree is in Business or Mathematics

* 5 plus years' experience in: Business Analysis, Financial Reporting, Analytical Reporting
