Analytics Analyst II; Claims Innovation and Benchmarking
Overview
AmTrust North America Claims is looking for an experienced analyst to deliver on the design and implementation of innovative initiatives such as applying AI to identify fraud, machine learning predictive models, natural language processing, straight-through processing of claims, robotics process automation, and competitor benchmarking through various resources such as SNL, NCCI, WCRIB, WCRI as well as AmTrust's vendors.
AmTrust is a Fortune 500 company that has seen significant growth since inception fueled by numerous acquisitions over its 21 year history. While the company's revenue has grown, the number of claims as well as complexity of those claims has grown with it. This has created an opportunity for us to better leverage our scale and vast amounts of data to identify opportunities to operate more efficiently.
This position will report to the Director of Innovation and Benchmarking and will support the entire Claims organization by implementing innovative solutions to address opportunities within Claims. This role is instrumental in understanding the current state, as well as identify and implement innovative solutions to address those opportunities. The right candidate will bring a balance of curiosity, technical financial acumen, problem solving skills, and experience working in a collaborative and execution focused environment.

Collaborate with leadership to capture the current opportunities for each major line of business
Partner with lines of business to prioritize these opportunities
Identify potential vendor solutions to address opportunities
Partner with Vendor Management and the PMO team to pilot solutions
Deliver executive level presentations with actionable insights and recommendations
Support Claims leadership team with benchmarking AmTrust Claims performance against industry
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a top university
3+ years of progressively increasing experience within the financial services, consulting, or other similar industry
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience working with innovative start-ups preferred but not required
