Maverik Crude Oil Drivers load petroleum products onto the truck and safely deliver the load to customer unloading facilities. Upon arrival at the unloading facility, the driver then pumps the load from the truck to the customers unloading tank.  The driver ensures proper completion and submission of all paperwork associated with the load. They work closely with the Transportation Supervisors and other personnel to safely deliver their loads to Maveriks’ customers. The driver keeps the truck properly maintained and follows all state, federal, and company safe driving regulations.


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Properly loads, delivers, and unloads petroleum products safely

  • Ensures the truck and trailer are properly maintained

  • Follows all state, federal, and company safe driving regulations

  • Works closely with Transportation Supervisors and other personnel to safely deliver their loads daily to Maverik stores and external customers

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:  Experience



  • 2+ years’ experience operating tractor/trailer equipment preferred

Qualifications:  Education



  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Qualifications:  Minimum Standards



  • Valid Class A CDL from state of residence with all proper endorsements, which include Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples, and TWIC card in necessary areas

  • 23 years of age or older

  • Must have a clean driving record

  • Successful completion of Maverik’s company driving test, background check, and DOT drug test

  • Pass DOT physical

  • Able to speak and read English fluently

  • Ability and willingness to comply with company dress and grooming standards set forth in the Maverik Drivers’ Manual
