Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and provide supporting documentation for assigned tasks during the close, such as recording accruals, accrued and deferred revenue and cost estimates, allocations, reclasses and adjustments.
- Prepare account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts. Ensure reconciling items are properly documented, resolved in a timely manner and adjustments are prepared.
- Prepare fluctuation analysis for revenue and related balance sheet accounts, identify trends and ascertain reasonableness according to business activities.
- Understand transactional workflow, be knowledgable about the source of data and ensure data integrity. Lead initiatives to implement systems enhancements and automation opportunities
- Collaborate with business partners to effectively understand and support business strategies and trends.
- Prepare financial reports and conduct analysis, identify unusual trends for further investigation.
- Update process documentation for accounting processes assigned
- Ensure compliance with all company accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Prepare audit schedules for independent auditors including the support documentation, as requested.
- Conduct monthly translation and consolidation accounting for domestic and international entities.
- Perform maintenance, setup and testing of the Oracle General Ledger system as the Accounting Super User.
- Prepare monthly internal reporting packages for review and submission to parent company.

Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Other Experience and Skills
- 5 -8 years progressive experience in financial accounting, controls and analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Public accounting experience preferred, CPA strongly preferred
- Oracle R12 experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hyperion Essbase and SmartView Reporting experience preferred
- Proven ability to drive change and process improvement
- Customer focused attitude, can develop effective relationships with business partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving and attention to details
- Flexible work hours necessary to accommodate critical deadlines or international business needs
