UCF LAKE NONA MEDICAL CENTER (UCFLNMC) is located in the southern Orlando suburb of Lake Nona, which is known as Medical City. UCFLNMC is a partnership facility owned by HCA Healthcare and the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. It will be the first teaching hospital in Central Florida. Construction began in October 2018. Slated to open in early 2021, the 204,079-square-foot, 64-bed facility is expected to create more than 300 jobs when it opens early next year.

UCFLNMC will be located immediately adjacent to the UCF College of Medicine. It will be just minutes from the Orlando International Airport and will be easily accessible from major roads including Florida's Turnpike, State Road 417 and the East-West Expressway.

Supervises staff in the performance of all CT procedures on a direct or indirect basis. Ensures compliance of all regulatory requirements through State of Florida Office of Radiation Control and maintains all appropriate quality control as defined by above agencies. Ensures completion of all required work at the end of shift. Meets staffing requirements for departments. Provides all necessary PI data as required on the departmental PI plan. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Lake Nona Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values. The employee shall support Lake Nona Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology.

Current license in the state of Florida as a general Radiographer.
BLS certified
ARRT (Radiography and CT) mandatory.

2- 3 years minimum experience in CT. Demonstrates ability to work with patients of all ages, extensive knowledge of the correct operation of all departmental equipment, accessories and procedures. The ability to diagnose basic equipment malfunctions and communicate with service personnel. Use initative and independent judgement when necessary. Ability to train various staff types in essential job functions and evaluates those functions. Good communication skills and the ability to use proper channels of communication. Must have ability to coordinate varied tasks.
