We are looking for a highly motivated Distribution Center Manager, with large or multi-site experience, to come grow with us in Vancouver, WA! Do you have a proven track record of successful leadership driving results through customer focus, team engagement, and promoting best practices in all aspects of distribution center and warehouse operations? The DC Leader will play an integral part in planning and executing distribution functions to achieve goals consistent with company profitability and customer focus, while coaching and developing associates to reach their highest potential.

This role offers high growth potential into a senior leadership position within our supply chain network!

In this role you will:
  • Establish strategic direction for warehousing activities of the organization.
  • Administer company operating policies, procedures and processes that achieve safe, efficient, cost effective facility operations and exceeds customers' & team members' expectations.
  • Manage the daily operation and service level of the DC, including creating a strong culture of safety and assuring products, parts, or supplies are shipped, distributed, or received in an efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and monitoring activities, such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with production, sales, records control, and purchasing
  • Balance productivity levels with costs to maximize profitability by providing department budget recommendations, establishing controls to assure optimum deployment of resources within approved budget
  • Recommending necessary changes for overall department improvement and efficiency.
  • Promote a team atmosphere through employee involvement, training and regular communication with employees.
  • Partner with HR in the areas of hiring, development, coaching and promotional opportunities.

What you'll need to be successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or business related field. MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience of progressive leadership roles within a distribution center/warehouse environment.
  • Experience working with MRP systems, work order, and/or warehouse management systems. SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and have strong computer skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High energy level and be self-motivated.
