Job Description:
Position Summary

Red Lion Controls, an operating company of Spectris, has an opportunity for an Operations Administrator at its manufacturing location in York, PA. The role has wide-ranging administrative responsibilities that will place the individual at the center of a lot that goes on within this high-paced, change-oriented, manufacturing organization. The Operations Administrator will provide administrative support to various operational processes and leaders. This position’s support encompasses functional areas such as production, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, and maintenance and facilities. This position will also function as a point of contact for all employees within the building for various operational items.

Key Job Requirements
  • Be an active member of the Safety Committee and Employee Engagement Committee. Take ownership in scheduling meetings, issuing agendas, and documenting minutes.
  • Maintain OSHA300 Log. Track near misses and injury reports on SharePoint to ensure accurate data is reported every month.
  • Function as point of contact for vending service, Canteen, assisting employees with questions or issues they may encounter.
  • Function as point of contact for various printers around the building that are under a service contract.
  • Function as the point of contact for Office Administrator in Building 1 when help with an event is needed.
  • Update the communication board in the Lunchroom to announce birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
  • Help communicate various operational policies and practices to the workforce.
  • Assist with scheduling group meetings and facilitating lunch orders when needed.
  • Print in-house literature such as CDs, flash drives, and paper copies for our products, and distribute to appropriate work areas.
  • Reprint labels when quantities are low or production requests corrections.
  • Maintain stock levels of all production labels to match internal demand.
  • Help maintain monthly Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule to ensure completion and accurate record keeping.
  • Distribute daily production schedules to the shop floor.
  • Order office supplies for the building when needed.
  • Notarize Certificate of Origins upon customer request.
  • Program chips for Surface Mount boards and final assembly cells.
  • Label units that are shipping to China to ensure ROHS compliance.

  • Experience sorting and manipulating data for reports in Microsoft Excel.
  • Must have a strong customer focus for both internal and external customers.
  • Quick response time to inquiries is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Positive demeanor along with a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Team-oriented.
