Position Overview: Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of various training and educational programs to achieve strategic goals. Work with staff, subject matter experts, team leaders and managers to develop or oversee development of courses and training materials that enhance the competencies of employees at all levels and align with the strategic efforts of the organization.
Design, plan, organize, and schedule technical and professional development training programs to meet performance management, leadership development, and technology/learning integration needs.
Assess, analyze, and select appropriate training methodologies using traditional or alternative methods, techniques, and formats including classroom delivery, eLearning and blended learning formats.
Consult with leadership, managers, and team leaders regarding job family competencies and provide coaching/consulting on career, skill, and performance issues.
Assist in organizational assessment, diagnosis, consulting/coaching, and action plans to address issues specific to meet individual, departmental, and organizational needs.
Assist Learning and Development Manager with the planning and preparation of the Customer Connection programs.
Assist Learning and Development Manager with the planning and preparation for the Manager, Team Leader and Trainer regular meetings.
Manage the Mentor-Mentee program including meeting with new Manager or Team Leader's direct supervisor to discuss potential Mentors; maintaining a list of potential Mentors, providing Mentors and Mentees with materials to assist in their mentor sessions, matching Mentors and Mentees and following up on a regular basis with both parties as well as checking in with immediate supervisor.
Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Experience: At least 5 years of relevant Learning and Development design, development and delivery of training. Experience in a service environment is preferred.
Education, Certificates, Licenses: Requires BA/BS degree in Training and Development, Education, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent. Master Degree in Learning and Organizational Development preferred. Certifications that add value to the learning and development work are preferred.
Knowledge of adult learning theory, use of ADDIE methodology, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Familiar with eLearning technologies preferably Articulate Storyline.
Excellent facilitation/presentation skills.

Environment: Work inside in a general office setting with ergonomically configured equipment. Travel is required approximately 30-40% of the time.
