• Leading member of planning department & the single point contact for planning and scheduling for senior management. • Manage and improve the scheduling day to day operation with the aim to improve the service level through managing the expectations of the sales team and increasing production efficiency and output reliability. • Work with the rest of the supply chain to define and implement New Product Introduction process • Act as the liaison between supply chain and the sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Define and set clear and challenging Key Performance Indicators for the department aligned with company goals and objectives. • Set-up & define demand planning process and lead its implementation to forecast future orders and trends on short, medium- and long-term horizons. • Maintain accuracy of inventory through stock segregation & prioritization, planned cycle counting, root cause analysis and action planning. • Lead the capacity management and capacity planning process for each site including defining theoretical capacity for each department, capacity analysis and continuous improvement of efficiency. • Ensure accuracy of ERP parameters through periodic updates and monitoring the changes in ways of working. • Own the supply and execution of the production plan • Work with factories and key suppliers to resolve operational supply chain issues

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields • APICS certification preferred (CPIM/CSCP) • Progressive career in Planning including supply planning, customer service and demand planning • 5-7 years of Supply Chain related planning experience • 3+ years of management experience • Experience on large-scale change management projects • Strong analytical skills • SAP Experience is preferred • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Work Environment • Some exposure to wet, humid, outside weather and extreme weather conditions, moving mechanical parts and high elevations. • Normal climate conditions of the region will also be present such as humidity, heat, and cold • Noise levels in the work environment (in truck or plant facility) can be moderate to high • Plant facility environment is subject to unusually warm temperatures during the summer months due to the heat generated by the glass tempering furnaces • With the plant facility, while the odors from glass cleaning, sealants, and other products are within acceptable levels, they nevertheless, can be smelled. Dust, pollen and other typical airborne particulate matter are also present within the atmosphere within the plant facility.
