KMHS is Kitsap’s nonprofit, designated community mental health provider for adults with acute and/or chronic serious mental illnesses, and children with serious emotional disturbances and their families. During 2016, KMHS provided services to more than 6,800 children and adults. Registered Nurse (RN) / License Practical Nurse (LPN) - Float Adult Inpatient Unit & Crisis Triage Facility (36hrs/wk.)
As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; and sharing shift management responsibility with other staff.
