NCI: As the Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) Release & Deployment Manager you will support the future of the Army s enterprise IT services. As the Army drives towards its 2028 Modernization Strategy and postures to the era of great power competition put forth in the National Defense Strategy, we must operate and defend our networks ruthlessly. The Army s communications network is the foundational weapons platform for the entire force. All Army operations depend on timely, reliable delivery and transmission of data. The Army is moving towards rapid and reliable Army Enterprise support and offerings. EITaaS is commercial delivery and management of protected IT services from the enterprise to the point of need (user) on the Department of Defense Information Network-Army (DODIN-A). Provides connect, protect, storage, computing, common IT services, hardware, software, and networking infrastructure.

The purpose of implementing IT Service Management (ITSM) into the EITaaS Project is to plan, build, and operate services in alignment with the strategic direction set by EITaaS governance to achieve the EITaaS objectives while mitigating risk. The intent of the EITaaS ITSM Program is to produce IT value for the Army, align IT resources, achieve Service Level Agreements, increase service provider productivity, enable rapid service scalability, and establish and maintain IT cost accounting and recovery to control IT costs scalable across all EITaaS installations.

Release & Deployment Manager

The Release and Deployment Manager manages the life cycles of all releases and deployments of configuration items (CIs) into the EITaaS Enterprise. Responsible for integrating with all necessary practices to properly position CIs and services for release. Responsible for the process that enables service managers to successful deploy CIs and services into the EITaaS live environment. The Release and Deployment practices are governed by the Release and Deployment Model, Release and Deployment Relationship Practice and Processes Standing Operating Procedures (PPSOP) and continual improvement using Value Stream Mapping techniques. The Release and Deployment Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the artifacts of this practice.



* Clearance: Standard Background check

* Computing Environment Certification: ITIL intermediate certification or equivalent.

* Education: BA 4 - 7 years experience


* BS in Business Management


* DevOps Foundation (DOFD) or equivalent
