OverviewWe are looking for a qualified Director of Engineering to join team Onyx Health for developing next generation HealthCare platform. The individual will have chance to work with cutting edge technologies in an innovation driven environment where individual creativity is valued, and the team is working together to solve challenges to achieve common goals.Responsibilities* Oversee all of the company's client engagements, with accountability for consistently delivering superior value to clients.* Implement best-in-class tools and Technologies (i.e. Azure Data Factory, APIM, Identity Management, Azure ADB2C, OAuth2.0, Power BI etc.), processes and practices in DevOps (i.e. CI/CD, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes etc.), quality engineering (QE) and professional services to continuously enhance the value provided to clients.* Collaborate with other Management Team members, Project and/or Client Management staff, and/or other Onyx management to develop and implement systems and processes to monitor, ensure, and improve technical delivery and client satisfaction. Includes ensuring technical milestones are achieved on-time and within budget.* Lead and develop program technical solutions/innovations, products, including the design/development of proof-of-concepts and implementation of designed products.* Provide solution support to sell Onyx IT services, including Software Integration, Software Development, IT Security, Administration, Open Source Technologies, Big Data/Data Analytics, Program/Project Administration, Data Capture & Recovery, Data Storage & Archiving.* For each Onyx client collaborate with all appropriate internal parties to help define client technical goals, develop innovative solutions, set technical objectives, develop plans and timelines, and monitor ongoing technical delivery to ensure effective project execution.* Manage and coach the Delivery team which includes software testers, quality engineers and managers, and ensure world class solution implementation.* Maintains technology standards across all programs to align with organizational technology standards.* Analyses technical requirements and develop effective technical solutions* Direct the activities of development team and external consultants* Lead role in conceiving architectural designs* Lead role in current environment assessment* Provide leadership and guidance to support the implementation of large systems including methodology, design approaches, and architectural and engineering considerations* Provide quality assurance review of engagement processes and deliverables* Backend Development* Spring Boot (Java)* Node.js (Experience with ExpressJS a plus)* Experience in AAD B2C authentication* Experience in AAD - creating tokens and using them to fetch data* APIM Experience* Front End Development* Mobile development experience with React Native desired but not mandatory* ASP .Net web application in .Net Core* ASP .Net REST APIs in .Net Core AngularJS* ReactJS* Understanding of Azure App services, debugging in Azure and managing application in Azure.* Azure FHIR Service* Using APIs in Postman with authenticated token* Experience in FHIR based Implementation* DevOps* CI/CD* Jenkins* SonarQube* Docker, Kubernetes* DB* SQL - SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB* NoSQL - MongoDB or Cassandra* Cloud experience* Azure, AWSQualifications* Educational Background* Bachelor's in computer science, or equivalent education/experience* Work Experience* 8-12 years of experience with 5+ years of management experience* Experience in the healthcare IT industry* Skill Level Expert* FHIR/ HL7 Experience desired* Azure and/or AWS Certifications preferred* FHIR/HL7 Experience desire* Interpersonal Skills* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing* Should be extremely facts and data oriented.* Should be deadline and closure oriented.* Strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion, facilitation and influencing skills.* High Energy Levels.
