Currently we are seeking a Telemarketing Associate to sell our bespoke group subscription offering. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in quickly developing strong commercial relationships with corporations, government entities, academic institutions, and NGOs.


How you will contribute:

  • Research and determine prospective clients via multiple channels

  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell across the subscriptions portfolio and actively encourage group booking deals

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key clients

  • Update records and collect new information/contact details

  • Achieve agreed-upon revenue goals with team leader

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers

  • Promote high customer service standards to drive retention


The ideal skills for this role include:

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal including telephone manner

  • Some previous direct sales or telemarketing experience a plus

  • Superior time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting multiple tight deadlines

  • Ability to meet or exceed goals and objectives

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to learn quickly and grasp selling points across the group subscriptions business

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with CRM helpfulAn interest in business affairs, politics and/or economics is beneficial
