Hexagon's PPM Division is seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced individual for a Software Development position. Candidates should have 3-5 years of hands-on development experience using object-oriented languages including C++. They should have sharp analytical capabilities, great technical skills, and the ability to generate innovative solutions.

You will be working in a Scrum team environment with a talented group of professional software developers. You will be using state-of-the-art tools and technologies while building next generation 2D/3D computer aided design systems that run on mobile devices, web browsers, and Windows PCs. This position offers excellent opportunities for growth and career advancement.

You will be expected to work independently at times. At other times, you will be expected to work collaboratively with your team members, your manager, and your product owner. Interaction with members of the quality assurance, support, and documentation groups is also occasionally required. This work requires analytical thinking, the use of independent judgment, and the ability to apply software principles in the solution of programming problems. A proven ability to mentor younger developers is highly desirable.


The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (preferably Computer Science or Engineering).

  • At least 3-5 years of software development experience.

  • Proficiency in modern computer languages including JavaScript, C#, and C++.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • A passion for learning new technologies, and a desire for personal growth.

  • A record of software development achievements and the ability to step up to the next level.

Experience with web application programming or mobile application development is required. Knowledge of computer graphics or database applications is highly valuable. Experience working with cloud services is a plus. Candidates must be able to adapt quickly and be able to learn new technologies through self-study, formal classes, or on-the-job training.
