Job Summary

The Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky is seeking a Quality Improvement Advisor to assist with developing and carrying out Quality Improvement projects and implementation research projects across Markey's two networks (the Markey Cancer Center Affiliate Network and the Markey Cancer Center Research Network). In addition, this position will help expand implementation of evidence-based practices.

The person who holds this position will serve as a liaison between MCC networks and its Community Outreach and Engagement infrastructure and will focus on expanding Quality Improvement efforts into new topic areas, helping to develop new projects with faculty researchers, develop content for training modules, train providers and staff , assist sites with interpreting their data, etc. A primary focus will be generating preliminary data that will support the submission of grant applications, with the intention that this staff member would eventually become fully grant funded.
