POSITION TITLE: Event Coordinator 

PAY: $14- $15 an hour

HOURS: Part-Time, Weekends & Evenings

LOCATION: Walters venues in Denton and Aubrey


Event Coordinators work events and weddings including attending details meetings, rehearsals, and receptions. The Event Coordinator reports directly to the Hub Food & Beverage Operations Manager.


  • Responsible for attending assigned Details Meetings and collecting ceremony and coordinating information. 

  • Responsible for leading assigned wedding rehearsals. 

  • Responsible for working assigned events. 

  • Responsible for conducting coordinator related tasks such as overseeing the wedding ceremony, cake cutting ceremonies, and organizing grand exits.

  • Responsible for serving food and bussing tables during receptions alongside the Banquet Team. 

  • Understands and helps to execute the BEO with the Banquet Team.

  • Display good customer relations skills and take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly manner.

  • During events communicates frequently with function hosts in order to ensure that their needs are being met.

  • Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.

  • Assist the Food and Beverage Operations Manager with any additional assigned tasks.
