Job Description:
The Sr Analyst-Manager Sales Force Operations position will align across US Sales Force Operations (SFO) functions (Data Management, Field Deployment, CRM, Field Reporting and Incentive Compensation) focused on improving efficiency, effectiveness and velocity of SFO capabilities and business impact. This position's responsibilities support the US Oncology business across our 5 Franchises across multiple products and indications. In this highly cross-functional position the ideal candidate will play a key role in ongoing operations and new projects aligned to provide insight and capabilities to our internal commercial customers. S/he will also partner with our internal US business functions (Sales, Marketing, Insights & Analytics, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and IT as needed) as well as partnering with external suppliers and services partners. The Sr Analysts/Manger also focus on quality of our services and capabilities across our automated, self-service and/or ad-hoc services. S/he will successfully combine oncology acumen, business objectives and sales force operations know-how to deliver innovative and timely solutions for/with our customers and cross-functional teams.

The Sr Analyst-Manager Sales Force Operations will report to the Sr. Director, Sales Force Operations within the US Oncology Cross-Franchise Strategy & Planning team.

Core Responsibilities
  • Accountability for the planning and management of short-term SFO projects
  • Business operations delivery and/or support of capabilities in area of responsibility
  • Review and/or solutioning of SFO processes aligned to the customer groups above; all of which drive or provide insight to current, changing and/or future state business objectives)
  • Ability to assemble facts and insight to tell a cohesive story/summary that clearly communicates a project request, enhancement request and/or current data (ability to simplify the complex)
  • Present the above summary to both peers and executives (when necessary) leveraging communication skills and perspective.
  • Makes and act on decisions quickly and effectively. This is based on an underlying courage to enable smart risk-taking for the business and value on time to market (business request through to visualization/output)
  • Actively creates and promotes cross-boundary collaboration with the aim of achieving enhanced business results and organizational growth (acumen, capability, experience, exposure, innovation).
  • Application of feedback from business users to further enhance capabilities and to analyze any issues with SFO processes.
  • Ability to organize and analyze data across commercial processes and systems with limited support from their direct manager and/or IT.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3+ years pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience
  • Experience providing support and/or Sales Force Operations services (within or Across SFO (Data Management, Field Deployment, CRM, Field Reporting, Incentive Compensation)
  • US Specialty Care business acumen and experience with related business processes
  • Commercial Data / Data quality management experience within the US Pharmaceutical Commercial business
  • Ability to evaluate, communicate, collaborate and integrate data sets into coherent decks aligned to business strategy.
  • Ability to deliver high quality results while working on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity; driving insight, clarity and action.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree in life-sciences, business or technical field
  • Working knowledge of oral and infused Oncology treatments and applicable tumor types
  • Working knowledge of US data sources relative to the application of diagnostic, procedural, and prescribing data in oncology
  • Understanding of the distribution channels and product flow for oncology medications
  • Agile deployment experience and application
  • Hands-on Sales Force operations experience
  • Pharma based data, insight and/or market research experience in Oncology
  • US data source knowledge: Claims, Syndicated sales, EMR, and other aggregated data
