Imperative Chemical Partners has an immediate opening for a Service Technician in Carlsbad, NM. location. If you are interested in joining a growing company with a proven track record of success, this is your opportunity.


The Service Technician is responsible for performing quality service in monitoring and maintaining the chemical program for Imperative Chemical Partners customers while ensuring the related SOP's, company rules, and standards or personnel conduct are followed. The successful applicant will focus most of their time on the following and must be able to perform all service tech duties.


  • Maintain truck, trailer, and cargo in compliance with DOT regulations

  • Perform and maintains daily DOT regulatory requirements associated with CDL (pre/post trips, logs)

  • Obtain and maintain accurate shipping papers and placards

  • Maintain PPE in accordance with company policy

  • Assess storage tanks and containment for regulatory compliance

  • Communicate issues and questions to immediate supervisor in a timely and thorough manner

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot field equipment to support chemical program

  • Monitor and manage product inventory to support chemical program

  • Accept and communicate any received customer orders

  • Maintain and submit paperwork to support inventory usage and component sales

  • Maintain and submit records for program treatment, well failures, and operational costs

  • Set-up and label storage tanks and containment

  • Perform preventive maintenance/ cleaning on pumps and trailers after daily us

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tankers (Preferred, but not required)

  • Physically able to lift 5-60 pounds, climb stairs or a ladder, and agile enough to squat and bend

  • Team player with ability to perform physical work


  • Well treating, chemical deliveries, Cleanups, and battery continuous injections.
