As part of our Global Reward and Inclusion Center of Excellence, the Reward Partner is responsible for managing and overseeing all compensation related activities, from cyclical events (e.g. market data review, merit reviews) through to projects, as well as contributing to the achievement of the team priorities.

You will be expected to deliver insightful analytics to the business to underpin strategic reward decisions that engage and motivate employees. Working in partnership with HR Business Partners across the globe, you will become a key adviser to the enterprise on compensation matters.

Your Focus

Collaborate with senior leaders to align and maintain the business areas to the global Reward strategy. In particular, ensuring that local HR and employee consultation bodies understand and build plans to align to the Reward & Inclusion strategy.

Use your expert knowledge to provide insightful challenge and direction to business leaders based on strong analytics, and continuously develop the R&I framework to ensure we remain competitive in our ability to hire and retain elite talent.

Lead the delivery of all cyclical compensation activities in line with established global and local parameters, for instance the annual merit / bonus / LTI cycle, job evaluation, ensuring that all compensation policies are compliant with the regulatory.

Ensure all global and local R&I policies are understood and implemented in day to day reward decisions and wider HR strategy/policy formulation by working closely with HRBPs. In particular, providing compensation expertise for all hires / transfers / terminations / business change activities to HR teams.

Within the global framework, you are encouraged to find opportunities to provide intuitive, clear communications for all line managers and employees demonstrate the value of the reward package at AstraZeneca.

Provide R&I insight and support (in conjunction with peers) to HR colleagues internationally for business as usual activity, as well as any M&A, divestment or other change activity.

As a Reward Partner, you will provide consultancy and analytical support to both the Reward team and internal clients. In this role, you will have the opportunity to liaise with Local and Global project teams to accomplish Reward objectives. Additional responsibilities can be found below:

Your experience
  • Designing and implementing reward policies, process, procedures in a global environment
  • Working in International environment with a demonstrated understanding of local cultural nuances
  • Advanced analytical skills, able to build complex databases and provide insightful analysis which can drive business decisions. Able to provide evidence of role in creating and delivering business change through such work.
  • Experience/an understanding of project management methodology adoption in business delivery
  • Experience in executing global processes locally and aligning local markets with the global strategy
  • Demonstrate through experience, the ability to engage, influence, negotiate with major stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Comfortable delivering complex messages in simple ways through presentations face to face or virtually as well as experience of leading consultation across all compensation areas
  • A demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and improvement
  • Bachelor's Degree-level qualification in a relevant field
