Deliver specialized HR support to Oncology Business Unit leaders and employees within an assigned location or functional area
Work alongside HR Business Leaders (HRBLs), embedded Talent Leads, People Advisory Group (PAG), Centers of Excellence and Innovation (COEIs), and Function/Business Leaders to contextualize, deploy and embed the Function’s respective “People” agenda in the areas of organization capabilities & effectiveness, engagement & belonging, lifelong learning, talent management & development, talent acquisition and people analytics & insights
Steward of delivering an exceptional people experience. Partner with Managers and employees to enable team and individual effectiveness. Manage escalated situations and establish feedback loops. Seamless implementation of cyclical HR processes
As part of the HR group, assist in implementing the human resources strategy across the organization.
Models, and reinforces Takeda’s culture by ensuring that HR practices are aligned with organizational objectives.
Coach and support assigned functional management teams. Identifies needs and develops and implements appropriate approaches, processes and tools.
Participate on teams to develop programs/processes to support overall effectiveness of Human Resources function.
Partners with Talent Acquisition to ensure recruiting and hiring strategies are developed and executed for functional groups.
Acts as the liaison between HR and client groups, ensuring effective communication of information.
Provide training and OD interventions to managers and employees as needed.
Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends; provide reporting and analysis on turnover trends
Work with internal partners such as Legal, Security, Compliance, and other HR departments to resolve employee issues as appropriate
Work as PMO to all strategic initiatives across OBU
Manage HR KPI’s across the different groups
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Minimum 5-7 years human resources generalist experience
Human Resources experience in the health care or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Willingness to travel to various meetings or client sites, including overnight trips. Some international travel may be required.
