We’re seeking out a Consultant who's interested in Prevention and Health Promotion to help make sense of the issues with the use of e-cigarette, or vaping, products.

The Health & Tobacco Prevention & Control Consultant or SME will involve research, analysis, review, and writing to deliver domain advice and trusted guidance on strategies and solutions to reduce the vulnerability. 

Key functions you will perform!


  • Guide the analysis, synthesis, and reporting of outputs and results

  • Liaise routinely with stakeholders on project planning, execution and other high-level client management issues

  • Ensure coordination of project and broader efforts to maximize contributions toward end goal

  • Analyze and interpret data to determine weaknesses, challenges and implement solutions

  • Advise and develop detailed business plans for long-term goals

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders

What you will need to have:


  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in science, management, public health, or an equivalent field

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working on projects related to infectious disease

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as lead or deputy lead for projects with similar scale, scope, and complexity

  • Strong familiarity with CDC ( Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and/or NIDA ( National Institute on Drug Abuse) operating environment, policies and initiatives

  • Working knowledge of vaping and the e-cigarette industry
