Technology Analyst

Background

CMS is responsible for process, data management and reporting in several arenas, including: Chapter 11 bankruptcy, government trusts, healthcare and insurance claim management. The team utilizes a customized application, created using a rapid application development tool and hosted by DevonWay, to minimize impact on key employees by managing the preparation, organizational and reporting requirements of the bankruptcy process.

The Technology Analyst will work in a support role to client facing staff, requiring the ability to multi-task and work under shifting priorities. Primary responsibilities of the technology analyst include developing ad hoc SQL queries to accommodate client needs and creating and modifying existing SSRS reports. Other responsibilities include designing, maintaining and developing applications utilizing Yourway, a rapid application development tool.  Additionally, the technology analyst will be responsible for interfacing with the DevonWay representatives.

Qualifications and Skills Required


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems or similar work experience;

  • Two+ years of work experience in a programming or SQL reporting role is beneficial, but not mandated;

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

  • Experience with Rapid Application Development tools a plus;

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a high-paced, multi-task environment with attention to detail;

  • Ability to interface with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations;

  • Flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements due to challenging deadlines, changing deliverables, and evolving task priorities;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;
