The Application Analyst/Developer is a critical memberof the organization and is one of the primary client-facing individuals. Thisis a hands-on position where you will create and enforce project specificstandards, augment and enhance our solutions, and benchmark individual andapplication performance metrics as well as estimate level of effort forinitiatives.


  • Develop,manage, and implement deliverables of our cross-functional teams that arefocused on implementing our products for the Oil and Gas industry.

  • Managingexisting implementations, and conduct internal R&D initiatives.

  • Providesoftware resource estimation, project work breakdown planning, and trackingprogress to milestones.

  • Troubleshootcustomers’ requests/issues.

  • Committed toquality, self-improvement, and team-oriented development.

  • Provideguidance and level of effort regarding scope and complexity of deliverables.

  • Reviewtechnical design specifications.

  • Knowledge ofSQL Server, Oracle or other RDBMS development and administration of Windows,Linux & Unix.

  • Adapt existingexperience to new environments.

  • Knowledge ofinternet based systems including experience developing web based applications.

  • Participate infunctional, regression and performance testing.

  • Issue triageand tracking.

  • Lead a team ofdevelopers both in the office and at client locations.

Additional Information

Must be able totravel approximately 25%.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

  • 3-7 years of experience in Software Engineering.

  • 2+ years of experience with OO (C# or Java), plus at least 1 year with C#.

  • Experience with C#, .NET, Java/J2EE, HTML, JavaScript, XML and/or other programming languages and tools.

  • Passionate about technology and applying it to business processes.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with the clients and team members (oral, written & visual).

  • Oil & Gas experience.

  • Self-starter able to work independently.

  • Excellent analytical skills.
