Job Description:
Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking an Office Administrator to join our project team at the Pratt & Whitney site in Columbus, GA. This is a fulltime position supporting the Project Manager, Directors and Client with various office administration duties. Two plus years of office experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience preferred. Strong teamwork, organizational and communication skills are required.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Support a wide variety of Pratt & Whitney administrative activities
  • Greet and direct all employees, visitors/guests for the purpose of providing information, taking messages, and/or directing to appropriate co-worker
  • Administrative support for EH&S Council, Staff, Governance, Operations
  • Service requisitions tracking & log maintenance
  • Process P&W and vendor change order requests
  • Filing and records maintenance, PowerPoint reports, presentation development support
  • Engineering documents scanning and archiving
  • Coordinate incoming & outgoing mail, FedEx and UPS shipments
  • Creation of Expense Reports
  • Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality for the project
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • Maintain office supply inventory and order office supplies, working within approved budget
  • Additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
  • Occasional travel within the state of Georgia

Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications :
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree, Bachelor's degree desirable
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Working knowledge with the construction/engineering industry preferred
  • Highly organized multitasker with ability to prioritize and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including scanners, copiers etc.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS office, email and internet
  • Knowledge of SAP helpful
  • Ability to travel occasionally within the state of Georgia
  • Must provide proof of US citizenship as required to access the Pratt and Whitney campus
  • Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy

Physical Requirements :
  • May be required to lift and carry items weighing no more than 25 pounds
  • Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
  • Must be able to move in and around confined and uneven areas
