The new team member is required to have Bachelors or technical/associate’s degree in a related field; and a minimum five years related experience; or the equivalent total of both experience and/or education totaling seven years. The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills. Must be physically present in our Lexington, KY office.  The selected candidate will be required to travel up to 100% of the time.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

Under the direction of the Manager, Quality Management Systems and through coordination with the Project team, indirectly coordinating the day to day quality control system activates and procedures for the company, from project start up to completion.

  • Attend project pre-construction meetings to discuss the QMS Program and review Lessons Learned in the presence of subcontractors and manufacturers.

  • Manage daily activities of the quality control program, such as assistance of testing and critical inspections, some of which may require researching and review of code requirements.

  • Train team members in the use of the quality control program and support question resolution pertaining to the program use.

  • Perform administrative set up of projects within the quality program database, assist in the support and maintenance of database program and assist in the implementation and audits the effectiveness of the quality program.

  • Ensure the quality program provides a fair and effective monitoring of the overall quality of the organization on a regular and timely basis.

  • Accumulate data from the quality control program for company utilization (for marketing, training, and areas of improvement/best practices).

  • Conduct jobsite inspections/audits to ensure that quality controls are in place and report findings to the Manager, Quality Management Systems.

  • Work with Project Managers, Site Managers and Design Managers to ensure the quality performance and installation of materials.

  • Work with the Service Team Manager for incorporating checklist items into QMS System based on warranty callback items.

  • May be required to temporarily monitor projects while others are away from the job and help to provide coverage on jobsites from time to time.

  • Establish and maintain high safety and quality standards in accordance with industry and company standards.

Normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled.   Overtime may be required.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This position will indirectly manage subcontractors and has authority to address any team concerns as they would pertain to the overall quality on projects.
