The qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily settlement department functions and making recommendations and updates to policies and procedures. PREMIER Bankcard is looking for an individual who displays strong leadership to join their team!
Posts credit card payments on FDR and/or internal data base system.
Reverses payments on FDR and/or internal data base system.
Balances payments and returned items.
Processes transactions to enroll and/or cancel customers in PREMIER Auto Pay.
Sends letters as required by policy.
Prints, balances, and deposits auto draft checks.
Balances refund reports, review accounts requiring a refund and process accordingly
Processes adjustments as needed per procedure.
Monitors and reports all unresolved issues as defined in procedures to supervisor.
Performs miscellaneous support functions for the department.
Determines the appropriate balancing and accounting entries necessary to complete the daily posting entries.
Organizes and prepares files for off-site storage.
Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly.
Completes and resolves advanced research issues.
Resolves outstanding research entries in a timely manner.
Monitors and reports outstanding items to supervisor as defined by procedure.
Assists in training and mentoring co-workers.
Review and demonstrate various steps of current process to co-workers.
Assists management with work flow objectives.
Assists in reviewing and revising procedure manual.
Skills and Qualifications
Must possess knowledge of many of the Settlement Department functions and complete Senior Settlement Specialist Career Path requirements as defined by Settlement management.
Combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.
Basic computer skills and proficiency of the English language.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to concentrate and work independently.
Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly.
Ability to handle stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies and procedures and uphold The PREMIER Way.
