Position Summary:
Under supervision of the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations, the Salesforce Admin role would be dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the Salesforce.com system based on the overall company needs; yet this person would possess the skillset to customize the system to the individual business unit needs. This role is all in an effort to support the on-going development of the Salesforce.com lightning Financial Services Cloud (FSC) The BA is responsible for systems administration and custom development; standard and ad hoc reporting, analysis and insights; associate training; and project design and implementation in areas such as CRM, acquisition integrations, sales KPIs, and special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:
CRM (Salesforce.com) Administration, Development, Support and Training - Proactively develop, administer and manage a system of data we can trust with ownership in data structure and user experience, onboarding, training initiatives, and ongoing support. Plays a lead role in the company-wide strategy, planning, execution and support of CRM (Salesforce.com), CPQ (Salesforce), and sales process integration for acquisitions.


  • Conceptualizes, designs and administers system structure and user interface changes

  • Self-educates to maintain System Administrator certification and proactively pursues additional development certifications

  • Familiar, at a high level, with APEX and Visual force development languages

  • Conducts multiple phase, customized training for new hires and ongoing, role-based associate training workshops

  • Functions as Tier 2 and Tier 3 CRM Support contact with the ability to handle advanced requests and site administration changes

  • Owns accuracy and management of the Salesforce user document library and all related SOPs

  • Document business requirements in forms of user stories and be able to distinguish between needs and wants. Identify gaps between business needs and standard application functionality

  • Create prototype for application configuration and customization of CRM systems (building screens, designing custom objects, developing workflows, etc.) including testing and evaluation to ensure quality and consistency

  • Evaluate and implement Salesforce AppExchange solutions and add-ons to enhance the CRM system(s)

Sales Data Management and Reporting - Uses CRM and other resources to provide meaningful ad hoc reporting and analysis to sales, Executive leaders and others as needed


  • Using multiple data sources, this associate will use their advanced Excel skillset to regularly develop complex reporting, trending and analysis

  • Designs, implements and maintains sales dashboards for sales leaders and reps, calling out actionable insights for sales improvement

  • Plays a lead role in the development and execution of sales integration plans for new acquisitions

  • Performs acquisition data integration analysis, cleanup, and designs data migration strategy

  • Proactively provides reporting as new initiatives arise

  • Leads efforts to maintain system wide data cleanliness for accurate reporting

Sales Tool Development


  • Leads implementation, administration and conducts training on sales tools

  • Research, develop, recommend and administer new sales tools to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness

  • Leverages advanced Excel skill set to develop Excel-based sales tools

Special Project Management & Support - Helps with cross-team process improvement or reporting projects as needed by leveraging Excel and Salesforce expertise.


  • Manages special projects, reporting, analysis, processes and assignments between sales and other departments (operations, marketing, finance, etc.)

  • Leads training and support for other roles on the Sales Operations team

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree (economics, finance, business administration, or marketing preferred)

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator

  • CPQ experience (preferred)

  • Advanced knowledge of CRM administration (Salesforce.com/equivalent)

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, with emphasis on Excel)

  • GSuite experience (preferred)

  • Project Management Experience

  • Six or more years of relevant experience (sales preferred)
