We are seeking an experienced business systems analyst to join our growing organization with expertise in Financial, HR, and Payroll systems & applications. In this position, you will analyze existing systems for improvement, recommend new system processes, and keep detailed reports of all structural and process changes. You must follow best practices and align with company goals while creating better procedures and solutions to increase performance and revenue.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
Design new computer systems and applications by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.
Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work with the appropriate Business Relationship Managers to review and understand the business’ expectations, evaluate requirements and propose options.
Provide visibility to the business and centralized Information Services team for ongoing IT initiatives.
Build collaborative relationships across the organization and with business unit personnel and management to affect a unified and customer-focused End User Service experience.
Sufficient education, training and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
At least 5+ years of increasingly responsible experience in information technology technical support
Relevant experience working within a large, multifaceted organization, consisting of cross-functional teams.
Project management experience is preferred.
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics) is required.
Experience with HR & Payroll systems is required, Ultipro and SuccessFactors is preferred.
Prior experience with modern business application tools like ServiceNow, Tableau, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft or Celigo
Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques.
Ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions Ability to effectively work alongside and communicate with people with a wide range of skills, experience, cultures and capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to deliver business value through IT, balancing drive for continuous improvement with respect of local company culture and processes.
Demonstrated commitment toward customer service.
Work and Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Required office location for this position is Oldcastle Infrastructure’s headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
Ability to travel (overnight) as required based on business needs up to 50%.
Ability to drive up to 4 hours for onsite services and meetings.
Must pass background check, alcohol and drug testing.
The position may require work outside of normal business hours in response to critical incidents or business-impacting project deliverables.
Normal office working conditions in addition to industrial plant sites and quarries, requiring the usage of personal protective equipment, e.g. hard hat, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses.
