ECS is seeking a Project Manager (Non-Tech) to work in our Dover, DE office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Description: ECS has an opportunity for a Project Manager to support a new web development program for a DoD client. The work location for this position will be on-site at the customer's facility on Dover AFB, DE.
Experienced Project Manager with an emphasis on web development and requirements analysis.
Runs end-to-end projects starting at the initiation phase and handle every aspect of the project from business case development, to requirements gathering, through implementation, deployment, and support.
Conducts project management for a web development project that supports the customer's activities, programs, and services.
Provides training for users on the application and new features.
Ensures that all technology initiatives are supported by business case development, requirements definition, and project plans.
Manages quality control and risk for assigned projects.
Reviews the impact of new technology solutions on existing business processes and recommends areas of improvement.
Communicates key project information between program sponsors, business unit customers, and stakeholders, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Champions the use of common processes and tools and ensures compliance with established standards.
Serves as a liaison between IT, customers, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure the program requirements are understood and met and the program execution is consistent with the project plan.
Must be a US Citizen
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Must hold (or acquire within 60 days) Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II certification(s) required to work on government IT systems, to include any of the following: CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP or higher-level certification
5 to 7 years of specialized experience conducting project management for web development projects.
2 to 4 years' experience consulting to customers defining requirements.
2-4 years' experience in a training capacity
Demonstrated experience leading a team and successfully managing IT projects
Expert written and verbal communication skills
Able to manage end-to-end project - business case development to requirements gathering through implementation, deployment, and support.
