Senior Marketing Operations Manager

BIOTRONIK is looking to add a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to our Marketing team.  The Senior Marketing Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day management of the marketing technology stack, customer database, and sales enablement/marketing operations tools.

This role is chartered to operationalize the Marketing team’s vision by setting a foundation of structure, process and strategy that empowers our marketing team to achieve high-level results. The successful candidate will drive the vision and execution of the marketing operations landscape, designing the evolution of our MarTech stack, processes and cross-functional alignment.

Working within our marketing automation platform, this role is responsible for providing program support for the portfolio marketing team by executing best-in-class digital marketing campaigns and experiences. This is a data driven role that heavily influences the marketing programs and the type of data the team considers in making strategic business decisions.  


Your Responsibilities

  • Aligns marketing technology with strategic business goals by identifying technology platforms to integrate into marketing technology stack; serves as the liaison between IT and Marketing

  • Owns our marketing automation platform, set-up and sync to CRM as well as managing the day-to-day operations

  • Develops templates for landing pages and emails that are compliant across all major browser and email clients

  • Drives/builds the nurture demand generation function of the Marketing team

  • Oversees the marketing database and segmentation strategy and implements processes to ensure quality data

  • Responsible for administration of enterprise work management platform i.e. Workfront

  • Oversees video production responsibilities from start to finish, planning, shooting, post-production, and distribution

  • Manages the implementation of systems, tools and reporting structures for product lines and new marketing channels

  • Acts as a thought partner in developing engagement strategies and technology investments

  • Documents and communicates/distributes best practices for lead management across the company

  • Communicates to and educates executive leadership with regard to new and planned activities, including global and regional programs

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred

  • 5 – 7 years of experience working in a Marketing Operations/Automation role

  • Experience working in marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, etc. (Marketo Certification is a plus)

  • Experience working with marketing databases and customer relationship management platforms (Salesforce experience is a plus)

  • Expert level knowledge in web technologies e.g. HTML, CSS and Javascript

  • Proficient in modern frontend and backend libraries/frameworks e.g. React, Vue, Node.js, Ruby on Rails

  • Working knowledge of database and API integration between software

  • Approaches projects with automation and scalability in mind

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to influence others and strong cross-functional leadership

  • Master’s degree or medical device/healthcare experience strongly preferred


  • Occasional travel may be required; up to 10%
