Position description

Provides pharmaceutical care in coordination with other health care professionals to deliver safe, appropriate and cost effective drug therapy to patients.

Qualifications

Minimum education required is a B.S. in pharmacy with 2 years work experience or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

Additional qualifications

An advanced degree (MS, PharmD) or residency is preferred. Experience in inpatient or outpatient pharmacy practice is preferred. Board Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties is preferred. Previous experience in applicable specialty practice area is preferred.

License or certification

Eligible for licensure by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.

Schedule details

Primary schedule is for Day Shift with 8.5 hour shifts starting between 6am and 11am. Evening shifts may be scheduled on an occasional basis, and more frequently as needed to cover staff absences.

Weekend schedule

Weekend shift rotation, currently every 3rd weekend.
