The FMI Internship Program is offered to students currently registered in a degree program. It is a 10-12 week summer commitment, Full Time, 40 hours/week. About The Job

The Intern, Data Quality Analyst provides support for FMI's data management team in the delivery of clinical data for biopharma partner studies. The role also supports FMI's internal cross-functional teams including the BioPharma Operations, Technology and Computational Biology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Data Quality Analysts in the creation of programmed checks for biopharma data deliverables using SAS and other programming languages.
  • Support the Data Management team in the creation of Data Validation Specifications for formal data transfers and other deliverables.
  • Assist in the review of Data Transfer Specifications.
  • Assist in the creation of key documentation as evidence of FMI's data quality checks.
  • Other projects as assigned.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Master's Degree in Public Health or Biostatistics.
  • Bachelor's Degree in life sciences.
  • Proficient in SAS programming.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Genetics.
  • Knowledgeable of other programming languages.
  • Proactive individual capable of taking initiative and driving to results.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, International Conference on Harmonization requirements, Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium standards and other guidelines pertinent to clinical data.
