Job Description:

A Day in the Life of an Area Director:


You are the Single Point of Accountability in the overall performance of the Area (13+
Centers) - ensuring that all Centers exceed Hair Club standards in Sales, Operations, Technical and Facilities. 



  • Responsible for the overall success and growth of every center including delivering the Ultimate Client
    Experience (“UCE”) and Ultimate Employee Experience (“UEE”)

  • Responsible for the success of each Center Manager and General Manager (collectively “Manager”) to grow
    their center through mentoring including, but not limited to, on-site visits, weekly debriefs, ongoing
    education, and coaching sessions

  • Drives sales by assisting Manager in creating a positive sales environment with the team to maximize all
    revenue channels- New, Recurring, Service and Retail sales- and grow membership base and revenues to
    exceed budget and prior year results

  • Responsible for managing the Area Profit and Loss Statements (“P&L”) and ensuring all centers deliver or
    exceed Contribution Margin; analyzes center performance with Manager and provides feedback to
    positively impact results

  • Partners with Manager to educate all employees on sales, technical and operations knowledge including
    new solutions or business tools

  • Helps Manager to always be recruiting in order to hire and retain top quality employees; works with
    Manager to maximize productivity and efficiency, minimizes overtime and preserves the Ultimate Client
    Experience (“UCE”) and Ultimate Employee Experience (“UEE”) by ensuring appropriate staffing levels

  • Holds Manager accountable for documenting all coaching/development/feedback including, but not limited
    to, positive feedback, success plans and terminations

  • Conducts Center Assessments within the Area including but not limited to Inventory Management, Loss
    Prevention, Security, Cleanliness and Customer Service standards and ensures each center complies with all
    Hair Club Business Rules and Sales Guidelines

  • Ensures all centers operate according to governing Cosmetology standards and that all labor laws, safety
    standards and OSHA/CCOHS, as applicable, regulations are followed as well as Corporate procedures and
    policies

  • Collaborates and communicates with all Departments to achieve company expectations including planning
    effectively to achieve goals and analyze both successes and opportunities

  • Sets the standard for personal conduct and engages in self-development 

 


What You’ll Need:



  • University degree with a major in business preferred or equivalent working experience
    At least 2 years of sales experience
    At least 5 years of sales management experience

  • Able to work under time and pressure, and meet client expectations

  • Must be able to react quickly and be flexible to last minute changes
