The scope of the role includes developing an understanding of the Daimler/MBFS approach to managing a control environment. This includes helping with the local maintenance of ICoM, Daimler's risk and controls database and assisting member of the ICS department with reviews of process narratives and testing templates. Finally, the intern will share their unique perspective of potential digital solutions within the ICS department to help streamline the company processes, as appropriate.
Major projects and work assignments as noted above will allow the Cultivation of planning, analytical and time management skills while building on CustomerOne premises. The intern will learn the importance of a strong risk and controls environment in a successful organization. They will also learn of how we work as an ICS team while getting a peak at what it takes to succeed in the business world.
List of Activities:
Training will be through job shadowing and one-on-one meetings with the team. The Intern will gain exposure to company's systems including ICoM, Alfa, SAP, Microsoft Office applications, while working in a detailed manner on their assigned tasks. They will learn about manual and automated business controls and how they work together in the changing global financial services organization. The Intern will be exposed to risk and controls department and the entire company, as we work with all departments to create an effective controls environment.
Please note this is a seasonal internship that will work up to 90 calendar days in our Farmington HIlls, Ml office. Candidate must be currently enrolled or have graduated within a year of starting internship.
Internship will run from May to August 2020. Start date and end date are flexible based on candidates availability.
