Red River's Collaboration Engineer's primary responsibility is to provide Cisco based Collaboration implementation services for Red River's growing customer base. The Collaboration Engineer will assist our Program Management Team during installations at customer sites nationwide. The successfully hired Engineer will design, implement and support best practice Collaboration and develop repeatable processes around security solutions for customers. Additionally, the Engineer will work closely with existing technical staff to support Red River's internal collaboration, security and networking infrastructure best practices. For the right individual, this position has significant growth potential.
Expert Level Cisco Unified Communication Skills with:
Communication Manager (CUCM), Session Management Edition (SME) to manage the multiple CUCM Clusters, Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) for Voice Mail, Telepresence, Meeting Server, QOS, etc., VTS Servers with CMR for Conferencing, Cisco ISR-4451 Gateways, UCS Server for Prime Collaboration Assurance, VNS Expressway, Video Teleconferencing System (VTS), and Tandberg
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal form
Motivated by challenges and has a strong sense of commitment to objectives
Detail-oriented and organized with an inquisitive nature that is open to learning from all sources
Ability to foster strong relationships at all levels
Cisco Certified Network Professional - Collaboration
Understanding of Cisco network routing and switching protocols
Cisco Partnership experience is highly desired
Cisco Certified Network Associate - Route/Switch
Cisco Certified Internet Expert - Collaboration
Four-year BS in Computer Science or related field, preferred
Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used):
This position requires the ability to run cable in network cabinets and lift up to 75 pounds.
Special Requirements: Travel to regional customer sites as required to support Red River business initiatives. Travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites nationwide.
