Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is looking for an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care to our patients at the practice in North Bethesda, Maryland. The LPN functions as an integral part of the interdisciplinary health care team to provide the highest quality of care to the patient. In your role, you will have the opportunity to analyze data to synthesize and summarize information, and make judgments regarding patient care. The LPN prepares and assesses patients for provider visit. Ensures exam rooms are neat, clean and stocked. Observes, records and reports patient responses to medical care provided during appointment. Prepares, administers and documents medications and vaccinations as ordered by provider and/or standing order policy. Assists provider with office procedures and collection of specimens. Processes prescriptions per provider instruction and policy.

Location: 6000 Executive Blvd; North Bethesda, Maryland 20852

Shift: Non-exempt - Full-time - 40 hours per week - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.


* Diploma as an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from an accredited school required.

* Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Maryland. Current CPR certification required.

* Two years nursing experience preferred. Experience working in an outpatient or ambulatory care facility preferred.
