Job Description:

Summary Responsible for ensuring all contractual janitorial requirements of the contract are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

-Responsible for the supervision of agency enclaves and JOI employees to ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with the requirements of the contract.

-In charge of quality control for all tasks performed to ensure contractual requirements are regularly met.

-Ensures all employees have the proper safety equipment needed in order to meet all safety standards.

-Responsible for completion of daily paperwork and keys in order to keep records current.

-Informs project manager of any behavior or incidents detrimental to our relationship with GSA or project goals.

-Maintains supply control to ensure accessibility of necessary items.

-Ensures proper maintenance and service of equipment in order to prevent breakdowns of machinery.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 10-15 employees during the day shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
