Job Description:


  • The Community Intern is responsible for the day to day completion of tasks related to community support and campaign execution. This position is highly involved in supporting the Community Coordinators, Community Managers, and Client Services. The Community Intern reports to the Community Manager or their Intern Manager.

    • Support upper level team members with blogger outreach and troubleshooting in relation to campaigns, community projects, analytics, recruitment.


    • Execute competitor vetting of influencer applications during campaigns


    • Create shoppable images for Community Managers/Community Coordinators


    • Grade and send edits for influencer created content


    • Community research and reporting for specific Community requests


    • Provide support to community members both within the community as well as in the social media space


    • Attend weekly team meetings.


    • Complete an intern project to summarize the skills and knowledge learned during internship



    Qualifications


    • Associate’s Degree in business, marketing, communications or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience. Either in the process of pursuing or already have this degree.


    • Some blogging experience and knowledge of blogging space.



    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


    • Team player, with the confidence to ask questions and work well with a variety of team members.


    • Problem solving and critical thinking


    • A passion and intellectual curiosity for consumer technology, social media, mobile and digital emerging / converging technologies, keeps abreast of the latest industry news, vendors and is savvy on social media marketing best practices.


    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have excellent personal organization skills and high attention to detail.


    • Interest in developing creative social media strategies and execute new and compelling marketing tactics that resonate with the target audience to achieve our clients’ campaign goals.


    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook), Google products (Hangouts, Sheets, Documents, Drive, Calendar, Gmail).
