Our Account Managers are responsible for: •Managing the overall relationship with the assigned accounts •Leading the sales process in growing new business •Identifying opportunities to grow the Intrado portfolio of products in assigned accounts •Developing, managing, and nurturing relationships with accounts, increasing their affinity for Intrado products, adding new contracts, and likelihood of renewals •Achieving assigned sales billing and bookings quotas •Monitoring account satisfaction and identify customer problems; coordinate with Intrado Customer Engagement to remedy situations •Developing and maintaining up-to-date expert understanding of assigned account solutions and understanding of relevant competitor solutions •Researching and actively identifying emerging trends that influence Intrado's value proposition •Communicating value proposition to existing accounts •Identifying and coordinating timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies •Proactively managing pipeline; input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion Education * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, marketing or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements. Experience * Minimum 3 years increasingly responsible experience in national, regional or state sales to include extensive cold calling required, preferably in the telecommunications industry. Other * Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
