Job Description:

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The General Store Clerk is responsible for selling and maintaining inventory of merchandise, food, drinks, beer and other liquor products. The clerk is to provide at all times excellent customer service to all our guests and be a support to the Front Desk as needed.

Must be at least 21 years oldMulti-TaskingKnowledge of POS system (Quickbooks)Ability to handle cash and credit card transactionsUnderstanding of Deer Valley Resort helpfulKnowledge of Park City and surrounding areasAble to lift and carry 30 lbs.

Operate the cash registerHandle and settle payments transactions (cash, credit cards and gift cards)Restock shelves with inventoryConduct monthly inventory of liquorAnswer guest inquiries with regards to products sold in the storeOperate the espresso machineMaintain cleanliness of the store (shelves, coolers, freezers and countertops)Monitor inventory - order items we are short on handMonitor supplies (cups, lids, coffee, sugar..etc)Prepare lobby water service.
Balance at the end of day cash, credit cards, DV Gift Card Systemand room charges in Maestro and QuickbooksDrop the daily store sales with the reportsOrder newspapers for guests requesting special papers
