The Quality Systems specialist is responsible for administration and maintaining controls for the key Quality systems as well as collaborating with and providing local representation to global teams for those systems. Systems include Document Management System (DMS), TrackWise, LabelView and others.

Key responsibilities:

  • Local System Administrator for applicable systems

  • Provide technical support for systems to users experiencing problems (i.e. helpdesk); resolve system anomalies associated with non-routine functions  and offer insight in all matters of system application

  • Provide instruction and/or coaching on the use of quality systems to all levels of users including individual, small group or classroom training.

  • Support the administration of permissions, ensuring that the established procedures and requirements for each system are enforced

  • Serve as a collaborative resource in all matters relating to the use or proposed use of the quality systems in both current and future state

  • Perform daily tasks of processing system-related requests and maintain related forms including addressing changes in users’ status or position

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key requirements:

  • Advanced level in MicroSoft Office Suite applications, particularly Word and Excel

  • Excellent proofreading/editing and attention to detail

  • Experience with Document Management Systems (DMS)/document control practices

  • Experience with Quality Records and managing associated systems (e.g. TrackWise or similar)

  • Conversant with a variety of software applications/systems and able to adapt quickly to new platforms

  • Coherent and effective interpretation of written and verbal instructions
