Job Description:

Branch Sales Manager

As the Branch Sales Manager, you will be responsible for increasing Softchoice revenue and gross profit by managing and developing a team of field sales representatives to achieve their goals and sales objectives. You will also service a local territory consisting of existing customers and potential prospects. The focus of this role is to drive hardware, software and solutions sales into key accounts while assisting your team to position Softchoice's unique value proposition to potential & existing customers. The Branch Sales Manager plays an essential role in the success of the overall sales team and its customers; possessing exceptional leadership skills and a passion for developing and inspiring people as well developing an emerging market through customer engagement.

Responsibilities include:
  • Create a shared vision and sense of purpose in the team that reflects the Softchoice strategy
  • Develop & execute against a strong daily/weekly/monthly sales management process through key performance indicators such as appointments and pipeline management.
  • Ensure sales targets are met and exceeded consistently
  • Create and implement a business strategy to expand revenue & profit in the sales territory
  • Effectively execute on marketing campaigns and programs that will enable the team to drives sales growth
  • Work closely with telesales management & other key internal departments (i.e. finance) on sales strategy, customer touch, and sales results
  • Align with key technology vendors in the local market
  • Manage sales rep performance through regular 1:1s, coaching, sales strategizing and when necessary, formal performance improvement planning
  • Service a local territory, you will take over an existing base of business while being tasked with growing that territory through approximately 30 customer appointments per month
  • Act as an escalation point to customers, both internal & external, to constantly improve the customer experience
  • Attract and develop top talent, building employees' skills through coaching to meet the evolving demands of the Softchoice strategy
  • Keep employees focused and motivated through growth
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge

Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience of strategic management of sales team within the technology industry, selling a large breadth of services and solutions into the Enterprise and Mid-Market space
  • Ability to define strategic and tactical business plans and cases
  • Track record of success \"overachieving\" on revenue targets
  • Experience setting and achieving aggressive sales targets
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to inspire and lead through change
  • Experience leading large complex engagements
  • Proactive and collaborative problem solver
  • Passionate, energetic and determined
  • Proficient use of MS Office and CRM
  • Completed University or College Degree (business focus preferred)
