The Senior Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for the successful development and execution of a marketing plan to grow our market share with one of our biggest technology Partners/Vendors in the mid-market and Enterprise segments. The successful candidate will do this by working closely with multiple stakeholders at Softchoice and our Partner/Vendor. This position will report into the Director of Demand Generation.
Own the Marketing strategy for their category and, together with the Campaign Marketing team, design a Marketing plan and campaigns, by partnering with Category leaders, Sales and Vendor counterparts
Deeply understand the Category business strategy and the Partner/Vendor's business goals with Softchoice and be able to translate that into the strategic direction and inputs needed to for campaigns such as buyer persona, value proposition, campaign goals, market opportunity and demand type
Support the design and the execution of demand generation and nurture campaigns, collaborating with internal cross functional resources through marketing and other internal and external groups
Act as the primary marketing lead for Softchoice during quarterly business reviews with the Partner/Vendor and vendor conferences, building strong relationships with senior vendor marketing representatives.
Prepare and present an in-depth quarterly analysis of all marketing and sales enablement activities from prior quarter. Measure and report on ROI from marketing activities as needed for the vendor or category lead
Understand the vendor's programs intimately and how to leverage these programs to fund various Softchoice initiatives
Minimum 7 years of business-to-business marketing experience within the technology industry.
Minimum 3 years of B2B product marketing experience, with deep knowledge of all facets of product marketing including product launch, messaging, buyers persona, buyer journey, sales enablement , and the B2B demand generation waterfall (MQLs, SALs, SQLs)
A strong understanding of the marketing relationship between Vendors and Channel partners
Excellent communication, organization, project management and stakeholder management skills
Experience with B2B Cloud and/or Network Security technology is considered a major asset
Pragmatic marketing experience is considered an asset
Experience with events and trade show planning is considered an asset
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
