Emerson (Marshalltown, IA) is lookingfor a results oriented, driven, and passionate student looking for anopportunity to grow their career and build their skills in real worldapplications!


Primaryresponsibilities include embedded firmware testing and development ofautomated test software and test scripts for motor control and industrialcommunications.


  • Test firmware for electric actuator products and technologies in accordance with internal engineering processes and standards

  • Develop automated test software and scripts

  • Participate in Agile development team

  • Perform technical support activities as assigned

  • Review product documentation including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy

  • Assist with other project activities as assigned

  • Required Major(s): Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or related engineering or science field.

  • Status: Junior or Senior standing

  • LabVIEW experience preferred

  • C/C++ experience preferred

  • C# desired

  • Possess basic understanding of embedded systems

  • Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possess strong organizational skills

  • Possess ability to contribute in a team environment
