This position is located in Pearland, TX.
Responsibilities-Ensure positive employee relations are maintained throughopen communications and responsiveness to employee concerns-Resolve employee concerns in fair and timely mannerconsistent with established company practices-Ensure ethics concerns are immediately logged andinvestigated and appropriate action is taken-Communicate effectively with all levels of management andemployees to ensure understanding of company practices-Act as individual or team coach to assist in improving theoverall effectiveness of the organization-Evaluate policies and practices periodically and makerecommendations for change as needed-Ensure training needs of the organization are met in atimely manner-Ensure employees and supervisors complete requiredtraining programs, coordinating external training or conducting site training as needed-Administer wage program: compile data for annual wageproposal, evaluate and recommend wage and salary actions, and manage meritincreases and the promotion process-Responsible for site administrationof benefit programs, the open enrollment process, communicating plan changes,and providing claims assistance-Serve as Oracle HCMsite administrator: enter, update, and maintain employee records in HRIS-Write, update, andmaintain job descriptions-Ensure staffing needsfor the organization are met through effective recruiting practices and participatein the selection process-Ensure allpre-employment processes are robust and result in consistent treatment of allapplicants-Manage siteAffirmative Action Plan and ensure legal compliance and adherence to companystandards-Conduct new employeeorientation-Manage the performancereview process for all employees, ensuring timely communication and completion-Responsible foradministration of Workers’ Compensation claims and Leave of Absence requests-Develop annualCommunications Plan and monitor progress throughout the year-Manage the employeeopinion survey and subsequent action plans-Complete periodic reporting on various HR metrics as required
Requirements-Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field-Five (5) years of related HR experience
